Frequently asked questions.
How long does a WOODEN swing build take?
Our WOODEN rope swings take on average 2-3 weeks from start to finish. The process consists of selecting the perfect wood, building the swing, staining, and applying multiple coats of outdoor polyurethane that requires days of drying time. Once the polyurethane has dried and started to cure, we will then finish out the build with hand splicing the rope back into itself.
How much rope do I need?
Having extra rope is ideal to make sure you have enough to tie your knot of choice such as the swing hitch. Having a little extra will also allow for your swing to be attached to different branch or beam circumferences. If you do not have enough rope, there are plenty of tree swing straps available online to help extend and secure your wooden swing safely.
How do I install my WOODEN tree swing?
Swing owners should use their best judgement when deciding how to install. There are multiple videos online and tools to help with this process. Every swing install is unique, and we encourage our customers to research the right process for them. If you don’t feel comfortable it may be best to contact a local arborist.
What is polypropylene rope?
Polypropylene rope is a synthetic rope that is extremely strong, and is resistant to both water and UV. Perfect for an outdoor swing.
Swing Cupholders
Our WOODEN swing with cupholders have the ability to hold a variety of beverage containers all the way up to a champaign bottle. Because of that versatility some beverages will fit more snug than others. The intent of the drink holder is to have a place to put your beverage of choice during moderate swaying back and forth with feet on the ground. Koozie’s, ramblers and other insulators for drinks not only keep your beverage cool but will help fill any excess space within the cupholders for additional security. We hope you enjoy your next sip and swing.
